Becky Bettesworth wanted the artwork to show the magnificence of the high performance F50 Catamarans, travelling up and out of the water at over 53 knots or 61 m.p.h. Sail GP is the worlds most competitive racing on water and is the formula one of the Seas. Her artwork portrays the majestic speed and grandeur of the event and boats. It features the iconic Smeatons Tower Lighthouse which is the centrepiece of Plymouth Hoe, making it one of the South Wests most iconic landmarks.
